As a Mortgage Loan Processor, you will play a crucial role in the mortgage application process. You will be responsible for gathering and verifying information from borrowers and financial institutions to ensure mortgage loan applications are complete and accurate.   • Review loan applications to ensure all necessary documents and information are included
  • Collect and analyze borrower’s financial information, including credit reports, employment records, and bank statements
  • Coordinate with borrowers and financial institutions to obtain any missing or incomplete information
  • Verify the accuracy of loan applicants’ financial information and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare and submit loan files to underwriting for approval
  • Communicate with borrowers, loan officers, and underwriters to address any issues or concerns during the mortgage process
  • Provide regular updates to all parties involved in the loan application process
  • Maintain organized and accurate loan files and databases
  • Assist in preparing closing documentation and coordinating loan closings
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage loan processing or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage loan products, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements
  • Familiarity with loan processing software and systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

  • Experience with government-backed loan programs, such as FHA, VA, or USDA
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing regulations and guidelines

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with borrowers, loan officers, and underwriters
