As a Corporate Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial records and accounts of the company. You will ensure financial compliance, accuracy, and timely reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the financial records and accounts of the company
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial statements and reports
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts
  • Monitor and review general ledger accounts, payroll, and accounts payable/receivable
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular internal audits to identify and resolve financial issues
  • Prepare and submit tax returns, financial statements, and other regulatory reports
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial information and support
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial systems and processes
  • Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and best practices
  • Perform financial analysis and provide recommendations to management

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate accounting or a related role
  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis

Minimum Qualifications

  • Excellent understanding of financial statements, general ledger, and financial processes
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide recommendations
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity

Recommended Skill Set

  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent certification
  • Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems
  • Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance
  • Experience in financial analysis and modeling
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Experience in a multinational company or Big 4 accounting firm
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
  • Strong understanding of internal controls and risk management
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
